RESCUE 3
Our Rescue 3 is an American Lafrance Eagle Rescue / Pumper. It has a Hale Q-Max 1500 GPM Single Stage Pump and 500 Gallon Fiberglass booster tank. It is powered by a Detroit Diesel Series 60 rated @ 430HP / 1550 lb/ft. coupled to a Allison HD-4060PR 5-speed Automatic, w/ Output Retarder. It has a Eagle 148” Raised Roof, 4-door Aluminum Cab which can seat 8 people - a driver and 7 SCBA seats. The body is completely stainless steel.
The pump is supplied by 1,000 ft of 5" supply line. Booster lines from a hydrant can be run from either side as well as the front bumper. There are 1 3/4" preconnected lines, one is 200 ft and the other is 250 feet. In addition, there is 500 feet of 2 1/2" (250 live, 250 dead). Also, there is a trash line on the front bumper, for rubbish fires, car fires, and small brush fires.
This rescue pumper is equipped with a 15KW A.M.P.S Hydraulic Generator. It is lighted by a WilBurt NS-11-6000 lighttower, 2 1000W Tri-Pod Floods and 4 750W Fixed Floods.
This rescue carries all of
our Holmatro extrication equipment, such as the cutters, spreaders, muti-tool,
ram, generator, portable generator. It has other rescue equipment, such as air
bags which we can use to lift heavy weight with, our thermal imaging camera, a
gas detector. Rescue 3 and Truck 3 are first piece out for almost all of our
calls (excluding brush fires). We also have other various structural
firefighting tools such as portable fans for positive and negative pressure
ventilation, chainsaws, a K-12, bolt cutters, axes, halogens, and more.
