Towers of Colonie Brush Fire

The Fuller Road Fire Department responded to a reported brush fire at the rear of the Towers of Colonie on Tuesday, May 22. The fire was quickly extinguished using engine 411.

On Saturday, May 19th the Fuller Road Fire Department responded to a MVA involving an electrical box. No one was injured in the accident.

33 Fuller Road Motel Fire33 Fuller Road Fire

Flames broke out late Tuesday night, May 9th in a motel room at 33 Fuller Road. The building is an old motel, that's been converted into small offices, and single room housing. Fire fighters say they rescued a couple of people from the burning building, as they were suffering from minor smoke inhalation. The cause of Tuesday night's fire is under investigation.

FAST Team to Woodlake Apartments

Blaze Rips Through Woodlake Apartments

The Fuller Road Fire Department responded to a 2:30 am blaze on April 30th at the Woodlake Apartments on Church Road. Flames broke out in building 33, which contains a dozen units. All of the residents were evacuated in time. Six crews worked together to keep the fire from spreading. Firefighters had to cut through the roof to get to the fire.

CSX Railcar Fire

On Friday, April 20 the Fuller Road Fire Department responded with West Albany to a reported railcar fire on the train tracks. Upon arrival it was confirmed that not one but two railcars were fully engulfed. Fuller Road and West Albany Fire doused the fire with foam and the fire was contained to only two cars.

46 Railroad Ave Roof Collapse

Wednesday February 14, 2007 at 22:57, the Fuller Road Fire Department was dispatched to a water flow alarm at 46 Railroad Avenue. After investigating the building, command ordered a full evacuation due to structural issues. Within a few minutes upon exiting the building the entire roof collapsed.

Sand Creek Road Fire

The Fuller Road Fire Department was called to a structure fire at 250 Sand Creek Road on Tuesday, Jan. 30th just before 9 p.m. Crews worked quickly to save the home which is salvageable.

Woodside Avenue Fire

The Fuller Road Fire Department responded to Woodside Ave in Colonie to a fully involved structure fire.  Truck 3 and Rescue 3 responded with assistance from Shaker Road, West Albany and Colonie Village.

                                   NAPA Auto-Parts Fire

On Monday January 15th the Fuller Road Fire Department responded to are ported fire at the Napa Auto Parts store, located on Wolf Road in Colonie. Crews from Shaker Road, West Albany, Fuller Road, Albany Airport and Albany Airport Fire extinguished the flames quickly, containing the fire to the exterior only.

                              Blaze Rips Through Colonie Home

The Fuller Road Fire Department was called to a structure fire in the West Albany Fire Dist., on Friday, November 10th 2006 on Sand Creek Road in Colonie. Companies from West Albany , Shaker Road and Colonie Village all battled the blaze that destroyed the home.  The fire started at 19:24 and Fuller Road was back in service at 21:44.

                               Motor Vehicle Rollover
The Fuller Road Fire Department responded on New Years Eve to a two car accident at the intersection of Exchange Street and Osborne Road with Rescue 3. The Fuller Road Fire Department worked with West Albany to extricate one victim whose mini-van rolled over trapping her inside.  There were no serious injuries resulting from the accident.
